« Last post by tattooedfeathers on February 18, 2013, 09:34:27 pm »
Folks,

for anyone who missed out on the merch from the gigs, the lads have sorted it with a cable store!

Find it here http://HTTP://CABLE.BIGCARTEL.COM/

Stock is limited so if you snooze, you loose, Ive just put my order in and thinking about getting a couple more tshirts to last me this time round.

If any of the band read this, can we please have re-issues of some of the old tshirts? Cable - Cos everything else is shit BBAB, Drum n Bass, Guitar and Vocals etc etc.

New Cable or live stuff would be great to have. I've bought stuff off Pledge Music before where we pay for what the band put up so they don't have to use a record label. The band get the money up front & make some themselves. We get exclusive stuff & hopefully the band make enough money to keep going!

Folks, and indeed Cable,

Where can we source any left over tshirts, posters, badges and cabley items. Got the unreleased 7 track cd and the God gave me gravity viynl already.

Also, has anyone got Jo bliss's email or contact details? she has done some awesome keyrings as seen on derbymiserablistscable, cable facebook page, and frankly, I WANT ONE (or two).

Burn Hole Pocket Cable!

A live album would be a great way for them to release something new. I won't expect to hear any new Cable material anytime soon (it would be great if it happened) but a live album would be a great way of seeing how many people are still want to hear new Cable releases, keep fans happy with the release of one of the reunion shows on CD and make some money. They could even self - release it to save money.

I don't know if there will ever be any new Cable releases but a live album would be a nice start

And so say all of us!

For selfish reasons,id like them to release the derby gig live as I missed the Garage, but either way, it would be a cd that captures the atmosphere generated by fans getting their kicks from a band that no other can give them.

Can you imagine the excitment of opening a new cable cd, with those card inserts hidden behind the front cover of a self designed sleeve - all the little things ey, pure class!

You all know that Cable recorded last nights show :)

Last night was ace. Best show they've done since reforming.

... And what an opener!!!

Also I wonder what is next for them?

I didn't spot that but I hope you are right and that they see it fit to release it in some form, it was such a well selected and played set of songs that it would make for a brilliant official release and also a great way to celebrate what was quite simply an amazing night.

I'm just thinking how when this forum started it was around the time of the tribute album and now 7 years later cable actually played for us again, would any of us have thought this would have happened back then?  I'm so glad we were all treated to these songs live again.

General Cable Discussion / Music and video sharing not permitted on this forum
« Last post by Damon on February 13, 2013, 12:05:45 am »
We will no longer allow the sharing of links to downloads of Cable's music on this site.

I won't go into details other than to say that the band had been inactive for years when myself and John started SubLingual, so the sharing of demos, bootlegs and video's didn't matter and it helped keep the music alive. A lot has changed and now the band are at least semi - active we can no longer endorse the sharing of their music.

Any posts that contain links to download Cable's music will be deleted and if it continues you will lose your forum account. What you do outside of the site is nothing to do with us but whilst using our forums we kindly ask you to refrain from illegally sharing any music or video.

Thank you

Damon!

?40 very steep for just the 7" vinyl m8. Had 2 copies of God Gave Me Gravity 7" but gave one to Matt as he had'nt got a copy. You'd have thought the band would have been given there own records though. If I see one cheap I'll let you know m8!
