everyone should come to this......club after is good too!
its not exactly my gig, so im not as i normally would be in terms of getting people so teh bands can get paid, but it'd be nice to see a lot of people there tho - all 3 bands are great, and from the perspective of someone who never saw cable its wicked to hear what the covers sound like live!
-
come on people! show a little enthusiasm!!
-
Id love to go if it wasnt so far to London from here, I hope it turns out to be a good night, im sure it will be rocking.
-
Yay! Finally got the album a few days back, won't be missing this, unless I'm dead! :-\
-
cool, if we do better than derby it will officially be brilliant....
if we dont, well we'll jsut get pissed and it'll still be brilliant...
-
That was sweet. After the initial nightmare of the a 5 hour journey on the M1. I thought we played shit but the other bands were good. In Flight were ace.
THe Guy running the night said Cable were really unhappy with the CD being put out cos their old management or whatever were still making money off them. Hope that's not the case.
-
Cable's old management need very big slap
-
What?? Thats shit if thats the case.
-
thats bollocks. i love it when people just make shit up like that!
the only money anyone will see off this cd is the publishers, chrysalis, who saw just over ?500 for royalties. and thats it. unless there's some money is magicing itself up from somewhere that i dont know about!
i made a very strong point of actually talking to the band and getting them involved with the whole process, so i know for a fact they support it....
jeez.
and yeah, was a great night, dare i say it, much better and more well supported than they derby one (which was ace nonetheless).....cheers to everyone involved!

I really wanted to be at the London night but i am suffering from a flu virus at the moment, anyone got any pictures from the night?
