How did you discover Cable?
Joey Swound!:
I feel angry to this day that I never got to see Cable play live. I lived in the Isle of Man until I came to nottingham for Uni.. It was a bit late though as they had just split up.
Shite.

Pictures fine, it's just the sound is obviously poor quality with it being done off a camcorder. It's the thought that counts!! :'(
You could defo tell something was not right with the band that night though. Sad.

How did I discover Cable?
The man we all know and love of course.. Mr John Peel god bless his soul..
I was sat in my room one night listening to his show and he played 3 tracks which I then just HAD to get.. one by Brassy called "Straighten Out", "Malcolm's X-Ray Picnic" by Number One Cup and a Cable track.. I went on a record buying mission and yarrr, the rest be history..
Rick Wakeman:
I originally heard them on the infamous Sprite ad, then got into more of their stuff by listening to John Peel.
Hexagoneye:
I first heard them when I was still at school, my mum had bought some Golden Grahams which had cds free with them. One of the cds had honolulu on it and the other had pocket promise along with some other bands who were wank. The addiction started there and before long I'd infected most of Peterborough's teenage music scene.
